19s on a 2003.5, do i need a drop?

Im putting 19x8.5, 19x9.5 on my 2003.5 coupe. (tires are 245/35/19, 275/35/19). Does anyone have any pics of what the car might look like without a drop? Also, what would be the best drop that would not significantly affect the cars ride and handling. Thanks.

Those tires are pretty much the same diameter as the stock tires. Since your aftermarket wheels will more than likely offset the tires to the outside of the wheelwell, the tire-to-fender gap will be more noticeable.

You will probably want to lower it a bit.

There are hundreds of pictures of G's with tires and wheels like this... The next post after the pictures is always the same... "Need a drop"...

About the ugliest thing about the G35 is the wheel gap. You don't want to be driving a remote cousin of this:

Ok, well the wheels are going on the car friday, so I'll see how it looks. If I need a drop, how much of a drop would be enough so to keep the car from handling differently. Also, would I just need new springs (read that a lot of ppl like the 350z oem springs). Thanks.

Just because you drive an M3 doesn't mean you have to hate on the Samurai.

Why would you not want it to handle 'differently', i.e. better? 350Z springs are alright for a sedan, but for the coupe they're not worth the hassle. If a slight drop is all you want, just get some 350z Tein H-techs and upgrade your shocks if you have the extra money to spend.
