larger rotors for stock brakes?

larger rotors for stock brakes?

i was wondering if there is larger rotor replacement for the stock 06 brakes? would bigger rotors help or should i just save up for a bbk? i'm looking for something to help my stopping power. thanks.

If something like this were available, it would require some relocation brackets to move the caliper outward (to accomodate the larger rotor).

Stoptech might have something but I'm not too sure.

Aftermarket discs won't do much to improve braking performance.

i have but i heard that aftermarket discs doesnt necessarily improve braking.

exactly i'm just looking to see if i have some options right now or just save up for a bbk. thanks for everyones help

If you want better stopping power then get more agressive pads. I don't think there's a whole lot of choices though right now for the '05+ upsized brakes so you might be out of luck there. Another choice is to get stickier tires. There's only one company right now that makes larger rotors using OE calipers for the G/Z and that's RacingBrake. But they only have the kit for '03-'04 G35s. They figured the '05+ brakes were already pretty beefy at 12.x inches so there was really no reason to make a OE caliper BBK.

thanks! i'll just save up for a stoptech bbk.. i think stoptech's products are the best bang for the buck thanks for everyones help.
