Parking Brake Creaking?
Hi guys, anyone experience this? When I get into or out of the car with the parking brake applied, it lets out a big "creeeaaaakk". When it is not applied, the car is totally silent. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Does it tend to be louder when parked on an incline?

or you could have new rear rotors. the surface friction is a little different than the old rotors, so you could get that "brand new" creek.

)or, i noticed on your write-up for the rotor change-out that you used some brake cleaner on your parking brakes. i did not....so maybe that's the problem.
