Burn outs...how bad?

Ok, so i'm a coupe owner with the following question. How bad is it to do a burnout in my coupe? I mean i don't do it all the time cause i'm not crazy. But if it has rained a nice bit, i sometimes won't hesitate to take it to an empty parking lot with nice lighting and give the pedestrians a nice show. But nonetheless, how bad is it on my motor? I know my tires are gettin' phucked, but thats not the problem. I just don't want my engine gettin' messed up. Any suggestions or advice anyone? Oh yea, my coupe's also an automatic but i'll turn off the VDC switch and put it in that triptronic thing to do the burnout. Thanks guys.

So you are only doing it in the rain? Explain your whole process, and maybe we can understand the damage you are doing to your drivetrain. Are we talking neutral drops or what?

Nah I think he just means spinning the tires when it's wet outside since that's the only way with an auto to really do a serious burnout.

Whether it [each burnout] takes 1,000 miles or 5,000 miles off the ultimate life of 300,000 miles can only be calculated when a system fails.

Not enough data on the 5AT yet [whether they last 100k, or 150k, or 200k] in granny type driving? As the 5AT model has only been in use 4 years.

If you need to use the break to get the tires to spin, you don't have enough mods!
