Help w/ pricing on spring install!

A reputable shop in my area wants $175 after tax to install my Eibach Prokits. How good of a deal is this? What's usually the cost for basic spring install?

I just had springs installed. I live in the SF Bay Area, San Jose, Ca., did alot of checking around and couldn't find any place under $200. I had to pay $225 for my spring install.

I priced out getting my springs installed and every shop around here wanted between $250 and $300. I just followed the DIY instructions found in a thread here and did it myself. https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ght=cotter+pin

Since most cars should be aligned every 6 months one should know the various multidozens of alignment places in their locations and who does quality work for a reasonable price. Obviously labor cost vary around the world and across the US [usually $60-$100 for a quality 4 wheel thrust alignment]........obviously SanFran/Manhattan is more expensive than Mississippi.

Twice annual PRECISION alignments help prolong tire life and show you the progressive decline in rubber component stiffness allowing you to budget replacements at a suitable time.

sorry, i have to correct you on this one. You said "4 wheel THRUST alignment" lol, so which one is it, a 4 wheel or a Thrust. a Thrust alignment is a 2 wheel alignment for cars/trucks with a solid rear axle.

If you can find a good shop that does lifetime alignment's go for it, it's well worth the extra money up front. As Q45tech said, alignment should be done every 6 months or 6k miles.

damn, $110! i work at Firestone in SoCal and our LTA is $170. However, it still pays for itself after 3 uses and you can bring the car in anytime you want for an alignment.

Is a "Precision alignment" something different than a regular alignment? What kind of alignment should I ask for when I get my alignment next spring?
