Dealer knows about problem...
Today, I went down to Miller Infiniti in the LA area (http://www.millerinfiniti.com) and spoke with Tyrone Reddick. When I described the problem, he grinned knowingly and said he was aware of the problem. Apparently, it's been an issue for a while, and his customers that live in the hill/mountain areas (especially Topanga Canyon, if you know where that is) have gotten into the routine of asking him whether there's a fix every time they come in for service.
As of now, there is no fix, and he doesn't know if Infiniti is even working on one. He said it's actually a problem on the FX as well, except for them, they'll even get it when accelerating on an uphill turn (whereas G35s are usually when your foot is off the gas). He didn't have anything else he could tell me.
Perhaps this is an issue we can take up with Infiniti corporate?

Another add here as well - I have a 2003 G35 coupe with Brembo brakes and 61K miles and it happened to me within the first 48 hours I owned the car going through Malibu canyon both directions. I didn't notice it on only right hand turns specifically. Any updates on this situation??

My resolution
Following the advice of some of the posts on this thread, I replaced my front tires, which were very low on tread. I spoke with the representative at the store and asked him if he knew anything about this problem. He told me that it's common on Infinitis and Nissans and that the traction control is very sensitive to worn tread, especially with the different sized tires in front and back. Replacing the tires seemed to resolve the problem for me.
Good Luck!
