this probably sounds very stupid to you guys and i am probably going to get flamed but thats ok because i have my flamesuit on.

anyways...

i cant afford coilovers. theres no question about that. and i cant go any lower with my current wheel/tire setup without rubbing very badly over bumps. (could if i had stiff coilovers). so i was thinking. what if i was to use bump stops that would stop the up travel of my suspension RIGHT before my tires would rub. the way im thinking of this is that it would pretty much be the same thing as running a very stiff coilover which many of you guys do on a daily basis.

so what do you guys think? could it work?
