hey i got the spc front arms and have a question. how do we know if we have the updated revised versions of the arms or the old ones that are basically "knocking" all the cars they are installed on? dont like all the negative feedback on this product.....strongly thinkin about backin out of this and gettin a refund on the product...maybe going spl or something

I think I am the first one to report the bottoming out of the SPC arms issue on a sedan. I am also dropped more than most of the sedans around here (~2.5 inches upfront) and am running Tein CS coilovers which appear to not be stiff enough to get around the issue.
Is the only real fix for this to raise the car up or purchase a different kit (350EVO) if I want to keep my existing drop? I wish I would have known about this issue before I purchased the SPC kit way back when.
Subscribed.
Thanks

Jeebus!,
I was thinking about dropping my car (2004 coupe, AT, non-brembo) with Tein 350z S-techs, and ordering front/rear SPC camber kits. (using original shocks)
After reading this entire thread, I'm pretty scared.
If i get the revised camber kit (part#72125) and install spacers, will i run into problems? This thread seems to suggest that most people run into problems with install, and the spacers/brackets messing up sensors. Is there any recommend shop for install in the So. Cal area that has experience installing these kits, so there aren't soo many problems with install? Or would I just be better off installing the kit without the spacers? (I wouldn't think the 350z stechs would need THAT much camber adjustment +2 degrees?)
I would really like to avoid the VDC/slip light staying on, or the crazy knocking action. Looks like there hasn't been a post to this thread in some time, is there a newer revised part that doesn't have problems now? Would I just be better off spending the extra $400 and going with the SPL or EVO camber arms?
Thanks all.

I personally don't have a shop to recommend in SoCal but I am sure there are other members on the forum that can help. As for knocking issues, they are only experienced with customers that are far too low or have soft springs. To help with those customers, SPC provides bump stop spacers that can alleviate this issue. Its a small minority.

WOW, I don't know how I missed this thread. Well I installed the SPC front kit (P/N: 72120) with the spacers on my coupe, and I don't hear any knocking on these rough VA roads. I'm slammed on Tein Flex Type coilovers. However my ABS, VDC off & SLIP lights are on. When I first seen these light I thought is was cause by the alignment being so out. Sometime this week I'm going play with the L-bracket to see if that fixes my light problem. Also for some reason I didn't get the lock washers, only the nuts. (And no the nuts I have are not locking nuts).

Are you sure you got the 72120? the 72125 is the revised kit and it replaced/replaces the 72120.
I just ordered mine through THMotorsports and was sent the 72125 revised. I installed it without spacers. I didnt need 2 more degrees camber, I can get into positive camber with just the arm.
I thought I had an issue with the bushing not being pressed in far enough, but I just used a flathead screw driver and pryed it in a little.

And yes I do have the spacers installed.
