Tein CS VS Tein SS
What's the difference? they have the same spring rates... just different tube constructions. Mono & Twin. Which is better? Anyone can clear this up for me ?
Also, do I need a camber kit if I plan to install the coilovers but not drop the car?
Thanks

Spring rates are only half the story. The valving inside the damper is diffrent for both.
CS is a softer ride, similar to stock. Even on its hardest setting it will not be much stiffer than stock.
SS is a little more performance oriented, but still maintains a good comfort level on its softer settings. On its hardest settings it will be stiffer than stock and you will be able to notice a performance diffrence.
If you do not lower the car at all, your probably won't need a camber kit with these.

I'm looking for something slightly softer than stock for when my wife rides, slightly stiffer for everyday driving, and somewhat stiffer for a track day. I've pretty much decided on the CS w/EDFC, but I am still trying to get opinions, as I haven't spent the money yet, and probably won't until after the New Year

Second, the valving is a lot less aggressive on the CS vs. SS. The spring rates might be the same, but the valving can be completely different.
Hopefully this will help to answer your questions!
