I just put OEM 19's on my G and it seems as if I get a lot more road now than with my OEM 18's. Could it just be the tires getting old/size? Can anyone comment one this?

The tires on your OEM 19's are a lower profile and a more performance oriented tire...therefore...louder on the road.
Yeah the first week or so that was all I could hear, but now I think I'm getting use to it. I was just wondering if they all where like that. i was going to test drive and 06 just to see how loud it was new.

I made the same move from 18s to the 19s and while i have gotten use to the noise, I still at times lower the volume of the radio because i hear some noise.
Imho, its more than a little loud. I guess more reason to put some better speakers in the car...

Or change to some different tires. I hear having different tires will have less noise, but it will still be loud from what I "hear" Originally Posted by sage
