350z or G35 (S or H) Tech AAGGHHH
I just bought the z h techs and am wondering if the spring rate is lower will it make the handling softer? ie, body roll etc? don't the shocks have something to do with this also? I don't wanna sacrifice performance for looks if I can help it

In the rear your going from 427lbs to 375lbs.
The drop in rear rate is still higher then the 342lbs oem rate that coupes without the sport suspension have. I've been on all 3 rear rates, IMO I would not concern yourself about it.
In the end their is a way to lower the rear and keep the 427lbs rear springs in place if you don't agree in actual use (up to a .8" rear drop). All you would be out is $60 for a pair of oem upper spring seats, and some hacksaw time finishing up with a dremel.

you can get it from any of our sponsors

Remember the oem extremely wide spec ranges are to minimize warranty expense, the exact midpoint of each range is the number you desire to minimize tire wear and maximize braking [especially camber for braking].
In spec is pretty useless, exactly on spec always requires adjustable arms if lowering exceeds 0.5" [~~0.4 degrees of extra camber].

on 350z s-techs the drop is going to be front 1.2 and rear 1.1 drop for coupe and for the sedan it will be 1.7 and 1.6 . For coupe as far as the camber goes, u can align it below -1.5 negative rear and below -1.0 for the front.
I don't know what the factory specs are but IMO having the car aligned below -1.5 is pretty good as far as performance and tire wear ratio is concerned.
My car is droped on coupe s-techs which are 1.7 and 1.4 and i have -1.8 rear camber and -1.2 front and haven't noticed any abnormal tire wear issues.

No Springs
Decided to go with coilovers instead of springs... Do I still need to do the camber adjusters and such? btw anyone looking to buy Tein 350z H-tech springs? still in box 150 local SF bay area...
great choice choosing coils over springs.
in any case, if you lower your car at all youll want to get a camber kit to maxamize tire life. but you really dont need one unless you drop it more than an inch
and i hope youre dropping it more than an inch...since you have coils now..uhhmm..SLAM THAT THING
btw, 350z h techs go for 139 shipped nowadays

still deciding, I read somewhere on this board that Nismo has a pretty nice set but it takes up to 6-8 weeks to order them, but anything pretty much jdm is gonna take a while. (I'm gonna start a new thread for this next question) Any suggestions? and what else (camber etc will i need to purchase)
after a little research I think Tein Flex with EDFC is looking pretty good, still considering the Nismo's tho... (see new thread "How does this suspension setup sound?")
