I lowered my 06 G to fit my Volk GT-s a little better and they have been making a creaking sound at low speeds. Its especially noticable if it hasn't been driven in a while.

Any ideas what this is? Is it normal? Its annoying.

 

you've might have installed the suspension wrong, on the top of the strut, the upper strut mount i believe its called, there is an arrow that needs to point out, you can check that, and did you spray anything on the strut? maybe you sprayed wd-40 and its causing it to squeak. because you shouldnt have sprayed anything on the rubber mounts, it dries them out. and is the spring sitting properly on the strut? maybe it squeaking from the spring trying to settle on the strut.
