damn i love my crar but,

okay, hey guys i need your help. When i apply the brakes at low speeds the hear a groan from the rear. have any of you experienced this? It isn't a squeek but it definately is coming from the brakes and it only happens at low speeds like 5 to 10 mph and braking....i took it to infinti and they claim my my rotors need to be replaced but i dont trust the dealership i fell as if it might jus be the pads.

Miles? Do you get vibes at speed? Under braking?

could be the rear end links - did you upgrade the sway bars recently?

my dealer replaced the end links and performed the rear axle TSB all under warranty to get rid of the sound - look up the TSB section...

have you replaced your pads/rotors previously?

take a look at your rotors. if there is a decent lip on the edges of them... I'd recommend replacing them. If it is a slight lip than try just replacing the pads. go aftermarket. I recommend Hawk HPS pads. Soo clean..it's unbelievable..night and day with dust.. just make sure you use squeal reducer! You may be able to break down the lip while breaking in the new pads. That's what I did... saved me $2000

Whatever you do...do not go through the dealership. they will rip you a new ahole with their prices. You can get a whole set of HPS pads for under $170 shipped.

As for rotors... look here http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/index.php?cPath=25_32

if you have any questions shoot them an email. they are very knowledgeable and helpful.

for the install ... DIY! very easy job. allot 2-4 hours depending on your experiences and what you're replacing.

I second the Hawks. Took care of the dust and noise from the Brembo's on my Saleen.
