My new 6 pot BBK....

Hi...
I just purchased a VTTR 355mm 6 pot BBK....
It's the biggest brake manufacturer in Taiwan...
I got it for a very good price so I am going to give it a try...
The guy at the shop said they also make the Endless 6pot BBK...
The design is simular to the Endless Safty 6 Pot BBK...
It comes with two forged aluminum calipers, 2X 355mm 2pc slotted rotor, Goodridge Stainless steel Brake line, Brake pads and installing hardwares...
they said I can interchange the brake pads with Endless pads...
I think this is the only kit around the community......

looks good! let us know how the turn out. and i'm almost positive you won't loose your e-brake, because i'm pretty sure the e-brake doesn't actually engage your brakes, but locks up your differential.

Really??
Because I looked at some of the BBK for other cars(like the StopTech for NSX) and they have some that have e-brakes but some don't....

hmm, you might be right. i think, now, it might actually press in the pistons... so i'm not sure if your BBK will work with it.

That's why I properly wouldn't do the rear brakes...
Are there any OEM upgrade for the rear brakes of a 06 6MT?
Thx...

Can't wait to see these installed. They look huge. I'm wondering how these would look on an Athens Blue coupe. I bet they'd match a Carribbean Blue pretty well.

You will not lose your parking brake with a rear bbk. The parking brake is a drum type, using 2 shoes. When engaged, the 2 friction surface of the shoes spring outward, making contact with the inner surface of the rotor hub. So no, the parking brake does not lock up the differential itself, it locks the rotor.

looks great! i'm assuming it matches the color of the body.
the e-brake has nothing to do with the brake rotors and pistons.

The rear emergency brake is a drum brake inside the rotor hat. See the attatchment
