Looks good. Can you post a few more pics so I can see the rear a little better? I am about to do mine and I think I am going with the same set up as you.

to do the rear took about 10 mins each side, the front took about 2 hours each side, but thats cuz it was my first time and I was also rechecking all the torque settings on the bolts. Should only take about an hour to do the front each side now, that I know the quick ways to do it.

Question

Someone please explain to me what this is for someone who doesn't dabble much in springs/lowering.

1.) Is this an OEM Nissan 350Z springs "swap".

2.) Is it basically just lower than our stock springs?

Thanks guys,

-WoW

You'll want to cut the upper spring mounts in the rear. I did this install back in September on my coupe. The rear didn't seem to drop at all. So I cut about a half inch off the spring mount and the rear came down nicely. Now I just need to get my car aligned and I'll be set!

I thought that if you cut the rear you would get camber issues.

I did gain a lot of neg camber after I cut the mount, but I haven't tried to get my car aligned yet. I'll do that in a week or so and let you know if there is an issue.

If you are aren't willing to deal with camber issues, then leave your car at stock height, any drop including the h-techs will cause some type of camber issue. Cut the rears if you want more drop, its the same as going with lower springs. Z-htechs don't lower the rear much at all as you can see from his pics, and they don't really settle any.
