Update on Alignment results! Car pulling to the left.

As many of you know from my other post, I got an alignment about a week ago. Didnt like the results so I got another one today. These are the results:

FRONT:

CAMBER: L -1.3 R -1.9

CASTER: L 8.2 R 8.6

TOE: L 0.06 R 0.07

TOTAL TOE: 0.13

STEER AHEAD: 0.00

REAR:

CAMBER: L -1.5 R -1.6

TOE: L 0.17 R 0.08

TOTAL TOE: 0.25

THRUST ANGLE: 0.04

The fixed my rear right camber by bending the camber arm a bit. Before it was -2.1 and by bending the arm just a bit he was able to get it to the spec. Now though I have a problem with my steering wheel. When I put it dead center the car goes to the left. What can this be and what do you think of the new results. Going back tomorrow for realignment, anything I should tell them? Is it Ok what they did with the camber arm? Thanx people, need some feed back ASAP if possible since I am going back tomorrow.

The rear toe is still within spec, it's not going to cause a pull to the left. The shop probably just didnt center the steering wheel all the way before they adjusted everything. Or if they locked the steering wheel down, they probably didnt start the car for a couple seconds before they locked it down (helps straighten everything out before adjusting the front wheels) i've forgot to start my car before adjusting and it will drift to the right or left sometimes.

As far as the bending of the camber arm i've never heard of anyone doing that, doesnt sound very safe to me, i dont know how the hell they bent a solid peice of metal...

They have some kind of machine and they just bent it from the middle a tad bit. You can barely notice it. But that was enough to pull the wheel from underneath and get in back into spec. It made some sense when he was explaining it and I was there for the whole time that he did it, and that seemed to fix that problem. I dont think that can cause anything else correct? How are the specs?

How did they fiddle with the front suspension?

the specs look ALOT better than they did before. The -0.6 cross camber up front might be causing the car to drift to the left.

What are you talking about -0.6 cross camber up front. Do you mean the -1.9?
It was worse before, the right tire was -2.0. Seems a bit better now.

cross camber is the difference in camber from left to right, -1.6-(-1.9)=.6

Here's mine, I had done last month. Same problem as you with right rear camber but he was able to get the right side to -1.6 and reset the left side the same.

FRONT:

CAMBER: L -0.8 R -1.1

CASTER: L 7.9 R 8.2

TOE: L 0.05 R 0.04

TOTAL TOE: 0.08

STEER AHEAD: 0.00

REAR:

CAMBER: L -1.6 R -1.6

TOE: L 0.10 R 0.11

TOTAL TOE: -0.20

THRUST ANGLE: 0.01

Your rear camber will definitely change from when the car was new. Rear springs are light.

Oh ok, but that cant be the problem, since It was even worse before I did the alignment and did not have any pulling issues. The custom work he did to the rear camber arm cant be a problem since the alignment clearly shows it only made it better.
Fortified, do you have any pulling issues at all? Does you car drive straight when the steering is centered?

No pulling at all I've noticed. I didn't really before either, and almost everything was out some, not real bad.

you need to get it looking like this:

TOE: L 0.17 R 0.08 => L0.10 R 0.10
TOTAL TOE: 0.25 => 0.20
THRUST ANGLE: 0.04 => 0.00
