I have a '05 G35 Sedan 6MT w/ the sports suspension. From what I can tell '05 350z revised springs will work on the front and back of the car. The only problem I will have is becasue the spring rates on the revised springs are much high than the stock rear springs on the g35 sport suspension. Is that right? With the higher spring rate in the rear how will the car behave?
Can put on all revised spring for a while and not damage the car? Or should I put the 350z springs on the front and add something diffrent to the rear? I am only looking for a 1'" drop all around, and I want it to be level. thanks.

from what i have always understood the G35 sedan sport suspension is the same spring rate as the 350z. (unrevised, someone chime in on revised) The rear will appear to sag a lil more than the front that is why a lot of people put Z springs front and Coupe springs rear.
The revised rear springs require the revised rear shocks, though to my knowledge one could use the shocks off an 05+ coupe with the sports suspension. I'm no suspension expert, but I've read that using the revised springs on the stock sedan sport rear shocks will result in the shocks bottoming out - maybe Gsedan35 will chime in.
so basically the fronts are okay. When you say bottom out, you mean break?
Also when you say coupe you mean, g35 '05 coupe rear springs? Is that correct? Will i still get the 1" drop in the rear

That's because there should be a sticky here in the sedan section that details it.

To the OP, just get a set of the revised OEM shocks and springs from a Z. Install will be easier since you won't have to swap the front springs. Plus it's cheap since you should be able to get a set for under $200.

those are spring rates for the Z/G's. As you can see, 03/04 was a direct swap. 05/06 is not. I have some unrevised Z rear springs for sale if you are interested PM me.
I am assuming from the increased spring rate on the revised 350z setup that the rear of the car is going to be much stiffer, but the front will be the same? Is the higher number mean a "less springy" spring? LOL Sorry for the layman terms.

Eibach Pro Kit..??
Well, how about just not having to worry about this issue at all (combining springs) & throwing on the Eibach Pro Kit..??? A great investment for the $$. Great in the corners & smooth thru the straights
