Lowering the G?
Lowering the G?
Hey all,
I'm planning on doing clean drop, I'm not dropping it to the lowest setting. Perhaps a finger gap all around, does this require me to use a Camber kit? I don't mind running some negative camber. Reason I am concerned is that I purchased GT SPEC underbody bars and specifically the rear lower tie bar has a hard time fitting with a SPC camber kit install. Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm . . . At about 1 finger gap you will have lowered your car approximately 1". You will have picked up a bunch of negative camber. I have been hesitant on getting the GT Spec products for the very same concern, which you have. I have read that some people have been able to install the GT Spec bars and have had no issues in conflict with the SPC camber/toe set-up.
From what it sounds like to me, you just need a longer bolt to fit both the bar and the SPC Camber arm. Let's hope that is the case. I see, okay thanks andy for your response.
