Tein Basics Rattle

I just got my Basics installed like 2 weeks ago. Everytime when i go over a speed bump i always here a rattleing sound in the back. Also after going over the bump it feels like something snapped out of place n went back in. Something like that. But when driving around i still here that rattling sound in the back. Has anyone had this problem?

sometimes i get it when the car is just idling, and also as soon as I put it in first gear and gas, I hear it.

check each bolt and make sure it's tight! sounds like the top nut on the Basic assembly could be loose as well.

I have the Tein CS and initially had the rattle problems too. Believe it or not it gets worse!

After a year I couldn't handle it anymore, I called Tein and made a major complaint. They are aware of the problem, it has to do with the shims, plus something internal. I was advised to ship my rear shocks back (w/receipt) to Calif and my shocks were eventually sent back to Japan for warranty repair. After a few months (because it was x-mas) I got them back.

Safe to say no more rattles at all, nothing but silence! I spoke to Paul from the tech dept, he is well aware of this problem w/G35.

Good luck!
