brake shoes

i dont know because i havent seen your car, but chech your rear emergency brake shoe. if the person who sold it to you accidently (even a little) drove with the e-brake on, it probably cracked it or something. This happened to me. It feels like something keeps clacking on something right, like in the trunk, but its not its the brake shoe. I just went to the dealer because they are the only ones who sell brake shoes. There were about 60.00 bucks or something. no biggie.

Sounds like axel ticking. The axels didnt come with enough lube from the factory, when the lube wears off it starts making a popping or ticking noise under light acceleration. Do you hear it from a start to about 10 mph or at all times?

If it is slowly getting worse it might be your wheel bearing...mine just went out, but it is pretty uncommon for wheel bearings to go out. You never know though...

Funny you mention from start to around 10mph, cause I hear it only during that time. It sounds like exactly that, axel clicking or ticking.

i get that sound too, but only when backing out of my driveway and hitting the first bump. i thought it might have been the wheel bearing. the thing is, it ONLY happens when i first pull out of my driveway. driving (heavy/light acceleration) no sound at all. this sound is coming from the rear passenger side and echoes throughout the rear.
