Best way to grease bushings on Hotchkis sways??

Well, I've got a bad squeak coming from the bushings on my front hotchkis sway bar (the rear seems fine, for now). What's the best way to re-grease them? Do I HAVE to take the bar off? Do you use jackstands to reach the bushings... or ramps?

And will
Valvoline DuraBlend semi-synthetic grease Valvoline DuraBlend semi-synthetic grease
work well?

on my stillens and my other cars, i just remove the bracket, pull off the
bushings, regrease inside/outside, and put it back on. no need to
remove the bar from the car.

there should be a little nipple with a cap that you can use a grease gun (forgot the name of the actual tool) to regrease your bushings. i just use regular lithium grease that comes in a white tube at sears.

see the red caps in the pic. my hotchkis brackets have black ones.

that's a nice idea they used...
but on the other hand, they shouldve put collars from the getgo. lol

griotsgarage has some nice needles you
can use to grease through those holes.

only the rear has those nipples... the front hotchkis bushings don't come with them.

I figured out that I was able to reach under the car and spray silicone onto all 4 bushings (without having to lift the car)... this stopped the squeaking for about a week. Today, I sprayed the silicone and spread a heavy layer of grease around the bushings... hopefully, it'll last longer.

silicon spray wont work, it's too thin and will wash out too easily. A thicker grease will hold up a lot better.

Yes silicone spray will actually "clean" the grease off of the bushings. The surest way is to disassemble them, re-grease generously, re-install, and wipe off excess around the bushings. You don't want sand to collect around them.

Use heavy duty water proof grease.

I use marine grease, i remove the front brackets, one first, then the other one, about the rears the have the "grease points" so it easier. I do this to my sways and it last for about 6 to 8 months. Daily driven.
