Ive heard that Hawk ceramic brake pads are good and they give off minimal brake dust. You can check ebay for them. You can get the front pads for about $90 on ebay.

+1 HAWK, you don't even need to buy their expensive ones, all their products are really good, I love mine

you can buy some blank rotors. I've heard good things about the PowerSlot blanks. Also like mentioned above, Hawk pads. You can order both of these from tirerack.com

I recently replaced the OE pads with Akebono ProAct pads; thus far have no major complaints besides the lack of initial bite. I have to say I got used to the reassuring beginning force the moment you apply the brake, and am considering other options. If, for you, the brake dust reduction outweighs the initial braking force then these pads are the way to go. i hear that they last much longer that the stock pads.

The Nissan Brake Assist System works because the oem pads are dusty and fast wearing combined with oem rotors they significantly ramp up the fist 1/2 second of panic braking.

Seems a waste to redesign system to lengthen panic stop distances by 22-44 feet just to reduce dust.
At 88 feet per second [60mph] every 1/2 second is important.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. I have an 04 coupe 5at and want to get some lower dusting pads but without decrease in performance. Are you saying that something like the Hawks are going to reduce breaking performane? I just want to be clear on this. I really want to get some lower dusting pads than the oems, but don't want to loose any performance.

I have some Project Mu NS pads and like them, except for the fact that they are teal green color.
