Aftermarket shock and strut with stock springs

I have a coupe with sport package, just wondering have anyone try aftermarket shocks and struts with the stock spring? Want to keep the stock height. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Curious, what do you want to correct by installing aftermarket shocks?
