sorry to sorta hi-jack but i just went through hell last night, had to put the spare on the front drivers wheel. Anyway's - ive got greddy side skirts, and the oem jack wont fit under it, i had to get it kinda through the side of the wheel well, and spent 5-10 minutes with the hook thing turning the jack up.


And to be completely honest, im not even sure i jacked it up in the correct spot, im gonna get a piece of 2x4 and try that....but can someone please clarify where the correct jack point is on the car?

You put it on the lip that runs down the side of the car, there are notches,

I think it should be kinda obvious if you look at the jack then the car.....

i know exactly where it goes - but due to my side skirts i cant put it there........therefor i was figuring there had to be another point, aparantly not.

Its inexpensive and works decently enough especially since its not going to be your main jack.

Do you have this jack and can you reach the center crossmember and rear diff without driving up on wooden planks?
