Anyone using 235/35/19 and 255/35/19 for their stock 19?

I am picking up a set of new tires and thinking about putting 235/35/19 and 255/35/19 for OEM 19. Anyone has that set up? I am not lowered, so will the 35 sidewall make the wheel gap larger? Thx

Hey I have Toyo T1R's with those sizes. Works fine for me. I didn't notice much of a difference in wheel gap .

When compared to stock:

On the front, the sidewall will be less by 0.3 in, and circumference will be less by 2 inches. The speedometer will also be 2.3% too fast.

On the rear, the sidewall will be less by 0.4 in, and circumference will be less by 2.1 inches. The speedometer will also be 2.6% too fast.

I'm usually the one posting about not putting too wide a tire on a narrow wheel, but for your wheel widths (8" in front and 8.5" in rear) 245/35/19 and 265/35/19 should work OK, and match up well with stock wheel ODs. I realize that 265 is out of manufacturer's specs for an 8.5" wheel, but it should fit and not have significant sidewall bulge. I would NOT go any wider though.

Talking Go for 245/35/19 front and 275/35/19's rear

Come on, pony up for the 245/35/19 fronts and 275/35/19 rear.

Everyone will tell you that your tires will fly off sending your car into a fiery crash off a mountain and the tire manufacture will deny liability leaving your grieving widow and orphaned children penniless.

Ignore the pontificators and forum experts. I am running this setup on my stock 19's (with 15mm spacers, yes I live on the edge) and have had no problems. And I run my car pretty hard around the twisties.

I was running 265/35/19 in the rear before I upgraded. This size actually looks better than the 275's. The sidewalls are perfectly flat.

Im running 255/30/19 -rear and 235/35/19 -front toyos. It sits perfect. My next set is going to be 265/35/19 and 245/40/19 r/f without having that bulky look.

245/40/19F isn't bulky? Thats a HUGE front tire. Its also taller than the rear size you plan on running and will make the car look very 4x4ish

^the stock tire is 225/40/19 and 245/40/19 in the back. I hated the way it looked the front ones looked very good but the back ones were ugly. For some reason it seemed that the back tire was 50 series tire compare to the front one. With my setup that i mentioned on previous post it looks ok eventhough the car is dropped on coupe s-techs the wheels look kinda small from close up. It might be because mine is a sedan but I think the size that i mentioned would look perfect with toyos.

so why not go 245/35/19 and 265/30/19? Those would have approximetly the same sidewall, without making the front tire too tall. A 245/35/19 will look like a 225/40/19 from the side as far as sidewall height is concerned.
