Lowering my Car. Suggestions, help me pick!

Well hello everybody, i have done a few searches and i have tried to do alot of research on lowering my 08 Infiniti 35S, but i have just gotten a little confused lol

Anyways, i have narrowed it down to either the H&R springs or the Tanabe DF210 (1.7 front - 1.3 rear)

My question is, will the Tanabe 03-06 G35 springs fit in the 07? because i cant seem to find them for the 07's... Is the drop rate different on the 03-06's then the 07's (if they make them)?

And then the G35 H&R Springs have 1.3 front and 1.2 rear listed on the website, but i seen cars on this forum that look like they are lower then that! hehe... it also says "G35 Sedan 3.5L, 6 cyl, 6MT 2003-up ", so im assuming the 03 springs will fit an 07-08..

Also, does anybody who has some fair deals on them? id like to purchasethem this week..

Sorry if i sound like a noob, i just wanted to square away even the slightest confusion.. And i know this board is full of knowledgable g35 members, thanks in advance for the help!

Ron

I would check with the dealer and see if they have the same springs for the 07 and previous models.

Definitely look through this link...you can get a very good idea of drops and there is even a few recorded real drop rates.

I can tell you that H&R is definitely lower than they imply...but they look great. Just have to be careful with the front end, but that is the same with any lowering springs.

ive looked at this thread several times, trying to figure out what to do, lol

And i agree that the H&R's look like they sit lower then they advertise, why is that? i dont mind, i was kinda hoping i wasnt the only one who thought that, lol.... I think the website says 1.3 inches, but it looks lower...

I think there was only one car on the Database with Tanabe springs

dude, go with eibachs. excellent ride nice looking drop. cant go wrong. if you start goin down to 1.7 in front you wont like the camber issues and i dont think anyone makes camber correction for the front yet.

Id prefer the H&R's , if anything, over the eibachs..

i agree that the 1.7 is a bit much..

But that kinda goes back to what i was saying about how the H&R looks low, lol

Because the quoted drops in their catalog are probably from the 06 and earlier years. The 07+ is a heavier car. H&R uses the same catalog number for all years.

ahh i guess that makes sense... thanks

so do they technically make a different kit with different spring rates for the 07 or 08?

I only asked because the fellah above said he had an H&R kit for an 07.. But as you said, i guess its the same part number (from previous model/years 03-06)
