My 350z Tein S-techs with Springmount Mod

Here are the end results. While I was there I added 5mm spacers for the rears making my wheels from +22 offset to +17 offset, make it flush with the fender. =)

I swear that looks the same ride height as mine...and I'm on 350Z Tein H-techs without the spring mount mod. I have 350z Tein S-techs sitting here....but it almost looks like there's no point in switching.

It depends on how much you both cut off the spring mount. You may have cut more off than he did, thus making your drop with the h-techs similar.

Well with the Z stechs the rear naturally sits a little bit higher than the front and didnt like the look thats why I did the spring mount mod and I didnt cut more rubber off because if I did then my rear was going to be lower than my front. Essentially before I did the springmount mod I could stick two fingers between the fender and the tire. After the springmount mod I reduced it to a 1 or less gap. Which is exactly what I wanted.

really don't know then because stechs are supposed to drop more then the htech and the stechs are famous for not lowering the rear much. In my case it all worked out because I am now where I originally wanted to be. Thanks to the springmount mod...

My springmounts have not been modified at all...just the 350Z Tein H-techs.

I took this a few hours ago and overexposed it so you can see how much gap I have.

Nice......your coupe sits "Just Right!" What suspension mods are you intending to do? I assume you had the alignment checked.....or not!
