I have the same setup and it's installed correctly, when i first installed it i had to readjust as well and it was IMPOSSIBLE to adjust it without jacking it up. My buddy (who is a mech) just used the wrench to adjust without any problems. FYI in case you forget, CLEAN THE GROOVES (the gold part from dust, rocks etc. ) before you adjust, otherwise you'll damage the kit. And of course, turn the top ring before adjusting the bottom. Sorry for stating the obvious, but just making sure everything is covered.
