i think some people are confused between a pulled fender and rolling fenders..

a pulled fender is much more radical than just rolling it.

 

is there any way you can measure the wheel for the exact offset? ive talked to a local wheel shop and was told you can safely machine 2-3mm off the back of the wheel to give you a higher offset. combined with some neg camber and maybe a little stretch on the tires this can be done without drastically modding the fenders.

in my head im thinking 33mm offset +3mm = 36mm use a 255/30 and dial in some negative camber and you'll be in set. or at least i hope so..

Ive always wondered this. Ill have to call up some local shops in the area. Ive heard that alot of people end up sometimes pulling their fenders when they are attempting to roll them.

Btw did that shop ever give you a price for doing this ?

i never got a quote on it, but you'll have to find a machine shop in your area.
up here in jax there is a guy called lugman. he builds custom spacers, redrills wheels, and bores the center of wheels.

he actually has a website, but doesnt list much on it. www.lugman.com

maybe give him a call to see what it costs. keep us posted on how it turns out.

 

So did this go well for you VQ Hotness? Lately I have been thinking about doing this too. Then I won't need to run any negative camber at all. Do you have any pics?

 

You want some negative camber or your car won't corner well at all. IMO ~1 degree works very well.
