FYI: Brake Fluid level, SLIP, VDC AND EBrake lights staying on

Just an FYI Folks. Was bleeding my brake lines and the fluid level was half way between min and max. Started the car, SLIP, VDC and ebrake lights all stayed on. Began to freek out - then I remembered the site motto:

"Stay Calm, Don't panic, just use the **search**"

and sure enough stumbled across a thread in the Coupe forum. Filled up the brake fluid to max and the lights turned off. A bit ballsy of Nissan to throw a code for the fluid level not being at the MAX level. They should have just said "FILL LINE" and not given an option.

Thanks again, g35driver - just wanted to let everyone know in case someone else has this issue.

I think it's a good idea. If you get your level too low, I bet it wrecks havoc on the VDC/Traction control systems if they operate with little or no fluid. ie.. pumping a bunch of air would be baad.
