alignment is here local called West End. He is very oldschool and uses no electrical equipment to align the car. He also does corner balancing. I would thing most high end alignment shops who align high end cars should have corner balancing equipment.

Shorter, adjustable tie rods and tie rod ends. Tie bars, strut bar, sways... just about everything when it comes to suspension.

Another Time Attack Victory for Relentless!

Round #2 of the 2008 Redline Time Attack Series is in the books and Relentless Autosports chalked up two more podium finishes!

The event was held at Gateway International Raceway near St. Louis and Relentless Autosports owner, Scott Bush was on hand driving BC Racing North America's brand new time attack Infiniti G35 Coupe.

WooohoOOOO!!!!! I can't wait to get this thing corner balanced and aligned this coming friday!.

BTW i was driving on the softest setting rear and front and my cousin who knows absolutely nothing about car's told me how much softer and more confortable the ride was compared to the S-techs that i had. My sister today told me the same thing today when i was taking her to school.

Wouldn't that be because the rear coils are actually softer than stock?

no because the shock allows the spring to compress a lot more there for giving the driver the impression that the car is softer and more forgiving over ruff surfaces.

I noticed the spring rates were the same as oem or softer on either the front or rear. I asked about it but got no answer. Would like to know just for my reference.

based on my calculations the fronts are 10kg/mm = ~560 lb/in and the rears are 8kg/mm = ~448 lb/in.

Hope it helps.

Here's what I get: dunno of oem on the Tein Basics mean oem spring rates. But seems ball park. Depends on if we are comparing the revised versions? Dunno of the coupe got revised stiffer springs. But the Z eventually had 427 lb units?

So it seems these are very close to some oem spring rates. At least in the rears. Maybe 5% over let's say the revised Z rear springs?
Tein Basics
DSP26-LUAS2 INFINITI G35 2003-2006 ; exc G35X
9/9 kg OEM
-1.6~-3.7/0~-1.4

Tein Basic (twin tube construction, non adjustable dampners )
Spring rates 504/504
Stiffer then oem by F+61% R+43%
Transfers +18% roll stiffness to front

BC Racing Type BR Coilover
10/8k spring rates
46mm internals (53mm shocks!!!)
1 year warranty
30 way adjustable
fixed cup design

Yes, the BC rear springs have softer rates than tein basic's rear springs. If that is ur question then the answer is yes.
