Pertinant question (to me) is: OP and Sean, when did you guys purchase your bars?... I'm wondering if it's a bad batch or they changed process... like I said (as have others) this is the first I've heard of them breaking in 3+ years...

I dont know what their deal is...I mean Im not trying to rip um for a rear brace...hell I just wanted another and was willing to pay. Not a good way to stand behind your product. The guy that did my corner balance saw the arm hanging and took it off for me and said hes never never never seen sways or heard of sways breaking or snapping. *hit was just made bad.

+10000. I guess this thread should be added to the don't buy from stillen thread lol. At least they were fairly responsive about replacing the other guys' sways.

I should go with my broken rear sway bar and tell people to be careful buying from them because they don't stand behind their product!

that's what I'm thinking... I've had Stillen sways for 2+ years and the car has definitley NOT been babied (not driving-wise anyway)... I wonder what's going on with the recent reports of failure?...

So, I re-read the thread… there are 3 reports of failure – they are all coupes… I didn’t pay attention to what year… It would be interesting to know what others (if any) have broken and what the common link is?…

For those that posting breaking, when did you purchase them?…

Stillen Sways....?

We all have opinions as to why a big a$$ sway bar would shear off like that. I'd be interested hearing from Stillen as to why. Maybe that's a question we
should ask next Saturday at the open house. So we only know about 3 bars
thus far, not something Stillen would advertise as being defective....should ask! I've made several canyon runs with mine, they're still intact after 3
years!
