350Z Pro kit?? 350Z stocks???

Hey guys I am new here. I had a 2006 350Z that I totalled a couple of months ago. I thought a G coupe auto would be a good fit till i am all recovered and what not. Well i still have my Eibach Pro kit springs from the Z as well as the stock springs. I wanted to lower the car but i will also be getting some 20's soon. Well the Eibachs was an ok drop on the Z. Does that mean the G would be slammed?? What do you guys think. Go with stock Z springs, The eibachs, or buy something else???
Here is the pics i found of the Z just so you guys can get an idea.

I really do appreciate any ideas. Another concern of mine is the 06 Z is higher than 03-05. thanks

If you have the oem 2006 Z shocks to run with the Pro-kit springs that would be ok, drop amount on the coupe would be about 1.6" vs the 1.1" drop they did on Z.

If you don't have the oem 2006 Z shocks, DO NOT install them with your oem coupe shocks.

what? the rebound rate is the same on both shocks you can use the springs on a g's shock wont hurt any

do it ..... it also depends on your offset i keep telling you, you dont need those shocks listen i droped my car myself and have yet to experience a problem in fact i have the tein s tech springs for a 350z i have no problems i dont have 20" but i know people with them and most of them dont have an issue with it and if they do they just roll the fender just look up the diy for rolling fenders if you come into rubbing issues

Ok so i found this info. What do you guys think??

F Drop: 25mm (1in)
R Drop: 25mm (1in)
F Stiffness: 296-384
R Stiffness: 316-421
Manufacturer: Eibach

F Drop: 17mm (.7in)
R Drop: 14mm (.6in)
F Stiffness: 6.9kg/mm (386lb) (+23%)
R Stiffness: 7.2kg/mm (402lb) (+16%)
Stiffness transfer: 7% to Front
Manufacturer: Tein

So what does this really mean?? They seem fairly close

My recommendation has zero to do with valving which would assume you have a legit 05+ coupe sport suspension and everything to do with the fact that 350Z oem shocks have shorter body/piston shaft lengths vs oem G35 shocks. Those shorter lengths are a must to try and reduce the amount of time the suspension contacts those bumpstops in everyday driving.

Disreguard the "Stiffness transer: 7% to front" That's from when I used think publishing that info was important, it's not. Also after the spring rates where it shows the +%, it's misleading since at the time I was first making oem and aftermarket FM platform specs public, the only oem rates in existance were 314/342.

The differance between the two springs is that the Eibachs are progressive front and rear with a 1" drop. The 350Z S-techs are progressive in the front, but with a little less spread between initial and final. With simular spring rates, linear rear springs and slightly less drop the S-tech's would be a better choice if you insist on keeping your oem shocks, though ONLY if you car actually has the sport suspension. What year is your coupe and what oem wheel size was it delivered with when new?

Since your coupe is a 2003 you do not have the 05+ coupe sport suspension, but rather the regular suspension that Infiniti call's "sport tuned". Your shocks are softer then your 2006 Z's shocks and the rear spring rates on your coupe are 25% softer then what the Z ran. Theirfore do not run either aftermarket 350Z spring choice that your considering unless you swap in your oem Z shocks. Your oem coupe shocks don't have the valving they should have and their's that issue I mentioned above about piston stroke/avaliable suspension travel.

Your welcome.

Whole suspension swap as in swapping in your 2006 oem shocks, springs and sways? Sure, no problem. With that setup, you could run the Tein 350Z S-techs.
