I have a 03 G35 coupe. I am dropping it with Tein H-Tech's for a 350Z. My question is this...

Do I need to cut my stock bump stops when I put this all back together???? AND if so, how much do I cut off it?????

I just found a paper in the bottom of the spring box that showed to cut it in half?????

They are H-Techs, BUT they are for the 350Z. On the G it is said to be about a 1" drop. I went that way cause I wanted the stiffer spring rates so I dont get the highway bounce.

 

They are nowhere near 1" even when the 350z springs are used on a G, the G h-techs are ~.5" drop and the Z h-techs are ~.8" front and ~.4" rear

 

Do the springmount mod now while you are at it also, or you won't be satisfied with the drop in the rear

 

Well, I was mis-informed. Either way, its still a drop, so I will be happy.

 

I don't know that I have heard of that one before. What exactly is that?

that looks awesome with that drop... BUT I am not sure I want to do that yet. I wanna see how the car does with just the springs first. I completely dynamatted my car. I know that added some weight and I have a speaker box in the trunk. Not to mention I already have camber issues with the passenger rear wheel that even the SPC rear camber kit would not fix...
