that's funny.. they should've made the H to be hard and the S to be soft.. weirdos.

so i'm guessing the S will be the better cornerings and h will be the smoother ride?

The spring rates and drops are different. There is also a difference between H-Techs and S-Techs for the 350Z and G35. check out the suspension sticky at the top of the brakes & suspension section.

This is not completely true, the s-techs have progressive front springs which could possibly be softer initially than the h-techs, and the springrates for the g35 coupe differ by only a small amount

Shocks will wear out with any suspension, even OEM. Time and use wears them out.

Most likely the lower the drop the harder the impact, you do the math.

Tein H vs S Tech Springs....?

Steve is correct, the lower the springs the more abuse the OEM shocks take.
If you'll visit Teins website it tells the difference between all the springs, and
they are ALL different....H-Tech for the G35....H-Tech for the 350Z and the
same for the S-Techs....check it out!
