Am I going to rub?
Hey guys, I just got some 20's and they should be here in the next few days so I wanted to pick up some H-techs for that nice drop when they go on. Here's my specs. The wheels are 20x8.5 up front and 20x10.5 out back with 25+ offset. I'm running 245/35/20 up front and 275/30/20 on the back! If anyone is running this setup with any kind of springs/coilovers I would greatly appreciate a couple pics if possible. For guys that have done this and are knowlegeable about tire specs/offsets chime in please! Thanks again guys!

Now that I think of it, I'd even be willing to run s techs as long i WON"T RUB! Thats the key hear! Keep in mind a budget as well, I'm not shy to work and have the tools so I'll be able to put them in as well.

the lower you go the less chance you have of rubbing because you will get more camber. It doesnt matter if you get S-tech's or H-tech's, if they're for the G or the Z, you wont rub with a mild fender roll.

Thats what I wanted to hear! I just want to avoid a camber kit for the moment.. I'm on a bit of a budget
I think I'll probably go with the Z h-techs.

20x10.5? Yeah you might slightly rub. Like he said do the fender roll, it's a very simple diy and all it requires is some pipe and a heat gun. When you do the roll might as well just go ahead and roll them as much as you can instead of a "mild" roll just incase you decide to go lower later on.
By the way here is the link to do the roll yourself: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...iy+fender+roll

I would be more concerned about stretching a 275 on a 10.5 inch wide rim and what the lack of camber kits will do to the tires.
I used a rubber mallot (a lot of light taps) and a heat gun to roll at least 4 sets of fenders. It comes out good.

) I'll see how it goes. Thanks for the link on the DIY! I'm just guna take my time and do it right

I'm rolling these badboys as we speak, all i can say is you gotta take ur time. Not as easy as some people say, you need to apply a good amount of pressure!
I hope it comes out alright by using a bat or PVC piece. I'm a strong proponent of "doing it right" and having someone use a fender rolling tool on your car. Just pay attention to the outside line of your fender (looking down the car standing next to the door looking toward the rear bumper) and make sure you don't "bulge" it outwards. If you don't pay attention to the outside lines as much as the inside fender, you could get a wavy appearance when you look down the car. Good luck though!
