In the middle of changing Compression Rod need help!! PICS

Is there a trick to getting the compression rods off. I am in the middle of changing them. I have all for bolts off (the 2 for the compression rod, and the 2 on the metal brace.) However, I cant get it off. The side near the wheel is free but the other side that bolts under the car will not come free. I have tried prying it off and gave it a few taps but i cant pop it free. Is their something else holding this thing on? Please advise.

Well things just got worse. Still cant get the compression rod free. I jacked up both sides of he car still cant get off. I tried to bang the heck out of it and it still wont come off. I tried getting the tie rod out the way so i could maybe twist the stuck side of the compression rod off. And know that bolt snapped so currently my car is non driveable. Initially the bolt on the compression rod was stripped so i grinded it off now a bolt will never thread onto that anymore. So my compression rod is currently not connected to the front hub. And my tie rod is just hagnging their also. I have know idea what im going to do.

Take a butane torch, heat it up until red hot, and give it one big bang and should pop out with no problem.
