the rattling sounds like the rear seat is not locked down, but the seat is down. the sound seems to be coming from near the top...like it is the mount. it is noticeable over any terrain. I didn't install the extensions at this time.

what do you mean by endlinks?
endlinks have to deal with sway bars not coilovers.

my buddy and i installed on his G and it was clicking all over the place and the handling wasnt THAT much better. We did endlinks and it cured the clicks, the handling, the sway problems, and it handles like a beast!

edit* i was referring to the clicking people are complaining about at the beginning of the thread, its strayed a while from there, sorry.

Someone on the Z boards pointed me over here and I have the same problem. Here is my thread on the Z forum, Pete it would be great if you could read over it and see if I have exactly the same problem!
I even have sound clips to pin point it even more.

Essentially, it is either the shock's top mount or the rear spring bottom mount (gold piece) on the spring seat.
Thanks,

*I added more sound clips.

I'll need the following information

Name
Vendor in which was purchased from
Shipping address
Credit Card is only taken to insure we recieve the old uppers back. Those will be sent back to further research if this is a part failure or just a specific vehicle issue. Only a 1 dollar charge is placed on the card to insure it authorizes. There will be a return label in the box for you to return at no cost to you.

I appreciate those parties that followed through with the testing to help us and the community out. As you recieve them, please continue with posting your results.

Thanks, Pete

So, wait... was the pillow ball mount the noise problem?

I am looking to change out my coils and these are high on my list.
