Suspension damage...need advice?

So I had this incident when I was coming down a residential street and hit a curb.

I have a 2004 sedan.

Make a long story short I ended up hitting the curb pretty much sideways (90 degrees) at about 12-14 mph, the majority of the the energy taken on the rear rt wheel.

I broke the rear wheel and totally wiped out the the front with damage (Axis) and ended up getting some used Infinity wheels after I got my car "repaired" at Infinity of Denver.

After I got my car, I took it back twice because I now had a problem keeping it driving strait on the fwy. Was a bit jumpy on city streets, but after 50 mph you had to do allot of course correcting to keep it tracking strait.

So they SWEAR it fixed AND perfectly aligned (4 wheel alignment) and their idea is that there's something going on with these used wheels.

So I get new wheels and tire (needed the rubber anyhow) and I still have this problem.

It seems to drift one way when I have power on and the other way with backpressure or power off?

So - I need some options. Take it to some other place (if I can find a suspension specialist in Denver) or????

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Well

If it is only drifting under power it could be excessive touque steer caused by a broken motor mount or damper. If you hit the curb hard enough you could have bent a tie rod end, pitman / idler arm etc. There could be a bend in there that would seriously screw your alignment and they wouldn't even see it.

We see lots of curb hits and unfortunately the car is NEVER the same after a typical limited insurance repair...............thousands of damage is skipped to satisfy insurance parameters.

When a customer wants car to be as new> new tires, new wheels, new rotors, new hubs and new suspension then frame realignment or replacement of subframes to achieve nominal perfection in alignment.

A simple curb hit can cost $2,000 to $4,000 or $6,000 for perfection.

I was forced into a concrete barrier on the highway hitting it at about 70 mph, luckily no damage to the body at all, but about 3k in suspension, and no injuries only shooken.

I just hit a curb yesterday and replaced a bent tie rod. I didn't notice any damage to any other components, but I'm worried if the car will track straight again. I'm going to my alignment specialist tomorrow hoping for good news. Should I worry about anything since the tie rod was the only blatantly bent part?
