Klumzyee's Suspension Build [G35Coupe] Version II

Current Set-Up [Version 1]

Coilovers:
TEIN Basics
- Great coilovers for daily use.. tooo tooo soft for track but still do able. Height is the only adjustable thing on these coils but they'll go lower then you'll ever need and higher then stock. Very good range no noise and best of all the resale value is amazing on these.

Strut/Sway:
Stillen Front/Rear Sways
- Neh.. stiffer then stock on stiff stiff.. no issues with it what-so-ever but its time to upgrade.. I thought these would make a bigger difference then what they did, however they're excellent and a bang for the buck

Stillen Trunk Strut
- Junk.. POS... do not ever buy.. I think the spoons at your local denny's are made of better metal then this thing..

Control Arms/Alignment:
350EVO Front Control Arm
- Hands down these are the best arms in terms of quality and design. Very easily adjusted and VERY sturdy

Stillen Rear Camber Arm
- They were good.. BUT.. I needed more adjustment at the time and these were a little short.. however these will do the job for normal bases. I replaced them with SPC Rear Camber Arms.

SPC Performance Rear Camber Arm
- "Buffer"/Bigger than the Stillens.. and like your girls says.. bigger is better.. [if you've heard other wise she's lying to you..] I was impressed by the quality of these.. under heavy abuse they still hold up perfectly fine and easy to adjust.

SPC Performance Rear Adjustable Bolts
- They do the job and a great deal!

Wheels & Tires:
DPE [Dynamic Performance Engineering] S-Series 3Piece Forged Wheels 20"x9.5" Front 20"x11.5" Rear
- Great wheels they are heavier then stocks but hold up VERY well.. everyone knows I dont stop for pot holes or rail road tracks lol.. I've bent two out of four (one was due to a flat tire ) Other one I probably hit something stupidly hard lol But overall GREAT sturdy light weight wheels.. but you get what you paid for

Tires
- This topic deserves a sepearate thread.. but to sum it up Pilot Sport 2 are win.. out of [RE050, T1R , P-Zero SYSTEM] I'd go with the PS2.. my next set is aimed at RE070-Rs

UpComing Set-Up [Version 2]

Coilovers:
BC Coilsovers w/12/12 Rates
-

Strut/Sway:
Cusco Sways
- Versus Stillen.. These are SOILD sways.. stiffer =) but more $$$

I need poly urethane bushings ._.

Stillen Trunk Strut.. NAHHH
- Will be COPIED into something stronger and more useable..

Relentless Front 3-Piece Tower Strut
- Chromeoly Bar FTW!!!

GT-Spec TWO Rear Braces
- neh see how they'll do

Tanabe Mid Chassie Brace
- Gona change the bolts on these.. the two that bolts onto the subframe looks good but the two back ends look a little weak.. I have fatter bolts with giant washers for these But they'll only be on certain days until I figure out if I can even drive with these things on.. they add a 1" drop to the MIDDLE of your car ._.

Control Arms/Alignment:
350EVO Front Control Arm

SPC Performance Rear Camber Arm

CUSTOM Rear adjustable bolts
- SPC ones are badass but I need a longer bolt so I can put on the GT-Spec Bars..

Wheels & Tires:
DPE [Dynamic Performance Engineering] S-Series 3Piece Forged Wheels 20"x9.5" Front 20"x11.5" Rear

Tires
- 255/30/20 PS2 325/25/20 PS2 [If body work is NOT done]
- 255/40/20 RE070-R + RunFlat -_- 285/35/20 RE070 [If body work is done]
- 275/??/20 PS2 335/25/20 PS2 [If body work is done]

BBK:
They're Blue.. They're 6POT/4POT.. They're 14".. Two Piece Rotors.. and they work

Corrected...

I use RE070. Civic type-R uses RE070.

You use RE070-R....

You're not supposed to be taking away my advantages.

My car is still fluffier.

I need to make the Rear bolts.. SPC was very helpful and gave me everything I need to make my own "bolt kit" =) I dont think I'll be posting the information but its nothing you cant research on your own lol.. hopefully Scott @ Relentless can find me the two bolts I'm missing for my strut bar =( and Illmatic/Dustin still has one of the mounts to the trunk strut of mine haha.. neh neh..

oh I'll have the MID Tanabe Chassie Brace for track day only too =)

you shouldn't need to make the rear toe bolts, IIRC you can use the toe bolts off the g37 kit which are longer without any modifications with the gt-spec bar

I have currently have SPC (larger) toe bolts on ._. reguardless I have to make it for the camber so might as well do it for the toe since its already dremeled anyways.. I dont need those adjustments anymore.. but its already done so might as well make the best of it =)

what (in your opinion) was the best single mod for suspension improvement?

I noticed a good bit of improvement just droping it with 350z h-techs and adding a NRG strut bar... just wanna hear what you think, nice thread btw.
