can't remove rear brake caliper bracket

can't remove rear brake caliper bracket
On my '04 coupe I cannot for the life of me remove the 2 bolts holding the caliper bracket on. Has anybody had this same difficulty and how did you over come this?

Get a breaker bar or a piece of pipe to give you more leverage.

Got an air compressor? Get an impact wrench and they should come off like butter

I don't think that would hurt anything.

try some penetrating oil like PB blaster......... with a breaker bar/pipe like meat suggested.............

I wish I had one for this particular job, so I guess I just look for an independent who is willing to remove the bolts and turn the rotary, since that is the only one giving me problems.

If I had a lift I could get enough length on the bar, as it is the end my bar is just a few inches from the floor.

Did that before the breaker bar, the only other thing that used to work, in other vehicles I've worked on, was a propane torch, to heat up the bolts.

I had the same problem and this is exactly what I did. Bolts came off no problem.
