Just thought i'd put this out there.

If I let go of the brakes and start rolling, and then press the brakes very lightly, almost to the point of like <1mph. The car feels like it's hopping forward. It has the same feeling like when you have no gas and your engine is going to shut off.

Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

It is your ABS activating. I think it is normal. I have it on my car and I've noticed it the first day off the lot. I've noticed the same thing on a Honda CRV as well. I'm not sure why the ABS does that.
