Carbotech Brake Pads
Carbotech Brake Pads
I've started using Carbotech pads on my 2003 G35. Carbotech makes a very wide range of non-metallic pads. They excellent brake torque and modulation, particularly important for track applications. The pads are made from Ceramic, Kevlar, and Carbon and are extremely rotor friendly and contain 100% non-corrosive brake dust.
I just put a set of AX6 on the G35 and am very pleased with the results. I could barely get the ABS to engage on dry street using OEM but with the Carbotech's they trigger at about 80% pedal pressure.
The AX6 s an excellent street performance pad, roughly 30-50% more bite that OEM. XP8 is a great pad for the track (PDX, HPDE, etc.) I use XP8s on the track.
The part numbers for the G35 front (non-Brembo) is CT430/815 and the rear is CT905. Cost is in the $140 range. I don't think they are selling through dealers, orders can be place by phone or email.

+1 for carbotech brakes! I used XP8 for track days on my STi and had nothing but great braking through out the sessions. Great initial bite hot or cold and very fade resistant. They were great on the street too, except for the noise, you could here me coming for miles
