what is it on this unrevised suspension that made it bouncy...was it the springs or the struts??

it's the springs. Higher spring rate. If you are interested, I got a pair of 07 rear 350z springs that I never used for sale. THey are the revised spring PM me if you want them

It's not the springs, its the shocks. They weren't dampened properly.

From what I've read the revised rear springs actually have a higher spring rate than the unrevised. I can't recall exact numbers but it was like 370ish unrevised and 420ish revised. I got a full revised 06 Z suspension on my 05 sedan and love it, the stance is very even, which I attribute to the higher rates in the rear, since most recommend using G coupe rear springs for an even look. I was on the stock sport suspension and the Z actually made a noticable improvement, much more than I was expecting.

Not to jack the thread, but what do you all recommend for my 05 non sport sedan? Revised all around? coupe front with revised rear? Only looking for about an 1" drop.

The problem is the un-balance between the spring rate and the struts. You can blame either one and be right.
