About to put on 06 coupe sport suspension - just making sure before i put on...

I know the faq says coupe suspension will provide around a .5" drop all around, and that the front will be slightly higher than the back, but I just want to confirm what will happen with my exact setup:

04 non-sport sedan, and putting on 06 sport coupe suspension. Does it matter that the new suspension (shocks + springs) are from a sport model coupe, and if so in what ways will it be better/different than a conventional coupe suspension?

Am I looking at the same drop (from what I've read about .8" in the back and .5 in the front)?

Is the only way to reduce the disparity between f and r adding revised Z front springs? And do these work well with the coupe shocks? Or would I want Z front shocks to go with springs if I switch up?

Thanks in advance, I tried doing searches for the specific questions but got way, way too many results regardless of attempts to filter.

It doesn't really lower more in the front vs rear from what I read. It's the fact that your rear fenderwell is lower so it appears that the front isn't as low as the rear. I'll have to go out and actually measure my Z front / Coupe rear suspended G sedan to confirm. Problem is my rear/front tire dia are diff so that will skew things.

Yeah another detail is that I have 235 rubber all around (not sure how/if this would affect anything) on coupe wheels.

if you had sedan sport suspension, i'd tell you to keep the rears and jut change out the front to coupe suspension. Since you dont, then just install all four.

Sounds good, would the z springs work out ok with the coupe sport shocks up front?

I'm not terribly concerned with the front drop, as I'm adding a nismo bumper soon and would rather be a little higher for driveways and stuff

As long as you are putting on the complete suspension from the coupe (springs/shocks) you will be fine. You can use the z springs up front as long as you use the sport shocks. The front will have a .5" more of a drop than the rear if you continue to use the coupe springs in the back.

I wasn't aware that the sedan sport was any lower than the non-sports? I do know the spring rates for the sports were higher and the sport got stiffer shocks.

Or did you mean if he had the sport, just change out the springs?

235/45/18 is almost identical specs compared to oem 17" wheels/tires.

Using the coupe springs will give you a .5" drop up front and about a .8" out back. That's the setup I ran for about 6 months. I then added the Z springs up front and dropped the nose an additional .5". I'd suggest doing the Z springs up front because it really does look a lot better. I've also got the Aero bumper and I don't scrap coming out of driveways, over speed bumps, etc. The nose really isn't that low plus the G has very little front overhang which gives it more of an entry/departure angle than most cars.

Got the fronts on today, the rear bolts were too tight so we're gonna give it a shot in the morning (in case the bolts break and I need to get new ones during the day).

Car already handles a little tighter and looks decent, but I probably will be putting the z springs on at some point

QUESTION: for just the front z springs, with the coupe shocks, does unrevised or revised matter? I know the rear shocks and/or springs cause issues with sedans, but would unrevised front springs be ok? Thanks for all the help so far

Chanced upon some Z springs on craigslist and slapped em on today with the coupe rears, it looks and feels fantastic. The extra drop on the z fronts really made a huge difference. Thanks again for all the help guys
