Brembo Brakes

Re: Brembo Brakes
Voila!
It ended up being a bigger pain than I had anticipated (since I ended up needing spacers in the rear which meant replacing all of the hub bolts), but the end result looks exceedingly cool IMO.
Also, until I get slotted rotors and braided brake lines this is more of a cosmetic mod than a performance mod. The Nismo LSD was a much better bang-for-buck in terms of performance (you listening, Jimmy? hehehe .

Re: Brembo Brakes
Putting on the Brembos or any other aftermarekt big brake upgrade kit on the Sedan will not yield greater performance for the typical street scenario. Where these brakes are needed are for track days where repeated hard braking is being done. The bigger rotors will be able to absorb more heat and be able to disipate it faster. The better brake pads will have higher operating temperature limits and will resist fade. The bigger and more amount of pistons in the calipers will have stronger clamping force that can be applied to a greater surface area over the brake pads. The stock brakes on a G35 already do a very good drop at braking on the street. Brembos aren't necessary for the street unless you do some crazy, repeated, heavy braking or you just want the Brembos for show.
