Lowering Springs on the front only?

I have an 04 OB g35 coupe w/ 18'', I thought it would look a lot more aggresive if it were lowered about 1.5'' in the front, and I kept the back at stock height. I was wondering if this has been done before? Any pics? Is it a bad idea to have 2 different pairs of springs?

some people use 2 different lowering springs on front and rear.. usually its to lower the rear more than the front since the rear springs dont drop it as much as the front.. idk about having the rear higher but I definitely wouldnt do stock height since it will look awful IMO.. at least get like stechs in the front and h techs in the rear

g35s in the rear... 350z in the front. its a g35 not an old school muscle car that you can rake.

Lowering usually involves stiffer springs so be careful that the tire total stiffness [wheel rate] to road doesn't exceed the front to rear weight ratio otherwise you increase the understeer ratio.

Generally Nissan uses springs stiffness [when corrected for mounting angle and offset] match the fore aft weight ratios...........say 55% front 45% rear.

Then uses sway bars to progressively increase the understeer ratios as the body rolls to provide handling safety in wet weather.

Raking looks good on the G in certain circumstances. Easier accomplished with Coils though.

The coupe already has a raked stance due to the staggered tire heights. Even with an even drop the car will still be raked.
