my steering wheel vibrates bad and goes to right!plz help~

i also got my two front tires changed with the alignment in addtion to two rear brake pad (the thread below)

my front tires was almost brand new, which was stock tires
michelin sport something 225/45/18....

i had to change them bcuz my tires worn out unevenly

so i did not want to spend that much , so i got the cheapest one from the shop which was falken ZE-912

they told me its decent tires~

and also the alignment~

after i got my new tires and alignment, i went on highway, but after 70mph
my steering wheel vibrates crazy, and it starts to go toward right~

i knew they did bad alignment, so i brought my car back~
they said they will work on it~they said something about "tire pool"
so it should have fixed the problem~

i went on highway after, but it still did~

so i brought my car back again, they said my alignment was okie and they could not find any problems~and their alignment machine is only set to max speed of 70mph.

but my car starts to vibrate and go toward right after 70mph~

and then they told me that reasons of vibration and go toward right is the tires~michelin tires are really soft but falkens are not~
that is why it might cause the vibration, and bcuz of vibration my car go toward right~

but i dont think tires can create that much of vibration and such.....
what will be the cause of vibration and go toward right?
i am having real hard time driving on highway~

so plz throw some helps here~
thanks a lot ppl~

tire place says vibration comes from the tires

which i got falken ze-912 which is really stiff tires

they said they will go with different set of tires which are way more softer tires than falken...

do u think stiff tires might be the cause of vibration?

i mean i never can believe that different tires can create that much of vibration....hm...

damn...wut should i do?

your post is confusing... did they balance your wheels or do an alignment on them?

usually vibration in the steering wheel is caused by poorly balanced wheels, a warped rim or in rare occasions the steel belts shifting in the rubber. if the car is pulling to one side of the road or another it's usually because your tires are out of alignment. most cars will usually pull slightly to one side of the road or the other because of how roads are crowned to dissipate rain on them... which is perfectly normal. if it's pulling hard or consistently to one side then there could be 1 or more tires out of alignment.

guess what...i went to the tiresplus and they changed to bridgestone potenza sport tires which eliminated the vibration...

so vibration was caused because of stiff tires...

anyways..but my car still go towards right...and they cant do anything about it...when they checked it with laser alignment machine, it says it all good

and then if i drive on the road it gets off again some reason...

they dont know why its doing it..

i should not have brought my car to tiresplus...

they dont know anything except the tires...

so one of the mechanic told me to go real mechanical shop....

so i am going to claim my money back from the tiresplus..

anybody know cause of go toward right?when when allignment is good, but once it goes on the road, they it gets off again...

why my car doing that,..,.

912's are garbage tires and i speak from experience on my dd. they
are actually soft sidewall tires, not stiff at all.

the tires were probably not true (round). those are made in thailand or
somewhere not by the sumitomo plant in japan or in the phillipeans that
make their better tires.

wasn't there a tsb on the front-end where some cars were tracking
right out of the factory? might want to look into that. was a balljoint
or something. i cant remember.
