Obviously the SPL's are going to be higher quality, they are twice the price, and are overkill for 99% of the G's here. You seem to be the only person to ever have posted this issue with the SPC arms. The problem seems to lie in a misalignment of the camber arm, where it should be perpendicular to the mounting points on the subframe. This should have been an issue with your stock arms as well, because the SPC is essentially a stock arm with adjustable length. Maybe your car has been in an accident at some point, not sure why this is without seeing the rest of the suspension. Are you using the SPC toe bolts? I hope you aren't using adjustable radius arms to fix your toe

No accidents. I have owned the car since new. I hope that I am the only person that has this issue. There are a lot of people using them here.

I am using toe bolts only. Adjustable radius arms on the G are a very bad idea.

Good choice, SPL packages their camber arms with SPC toe bolts, so they believe in SPC gear also. It is unfortunate that you had this issue, but you can't go wrong with SPL

sorry to revive this thread, but is it possible for the misalignment to happen on its own rather from a poor install? I had my last alignment in the fall of 2010 and have since put 15k miles on it. The arms have about 40k on them (all by me), so I am just curious if the bushing failed naturally?

My alignments and the arms install were done by the same performance shop, so I am confident they know how to install and adjust the arms.

It would seem like it is impossible to replace this bushing, so I guess my only option is a set of new arms?

Same thing happened to me, I'm gonna blame the shop who twisted it because I don't think the arm did it on it's own. However my car has a lot of miles and I'm sick of the SPC bushing had a problem with the front arm bushing twisting too.

In manufacturing, we call this securing in the 1G position. that is when the car is on the ground on its on weight. The shops(and I myself) failed to do this and once the car was let down, the arm was rotated but the bushing couldnt turn since it is clamped, so it ripped. However with my SPC they did not rip.
