What suspension would you buy? - Stance GR+, HKS HyperMax III,BC Racing or tein flex?
Hey all,
so I have narrowed my selection to 4 options. Have quotes for all of them, just need a bit of a push to figure out which one I should get.
1) HKS Hypermax III Street (9/9)
2) BC Racing (8/10)
3) Tein Flex
4) Stance GR+
I am going to use this pretty much for street driving, car is not my daily driver and I am going to the auto X track about 1 once a month. Which one would you buy?

It all depends on what your driving habits and personal preferences are when deciding on coil overs.
I have tried my fair share of coil overs and in most cases I would say go with the Stance GR+ or the BC Racing ones.
In my experience, Tein is all marketing hype and acceptable at best.
The HKS Hypermax are also a lot of hype and are made for HKS by the same manufacturer as a couple of other coil overs (surprising to most).
Bang for buck, stick with one of the the Stance or the BC Racing.

Thanks for all the replies guys - let me give you some more background.
I store the car for the winter here in Canada and I have 2 other cars. The G is simply my big toy. I drive it a fair bit in the summer mostly alone, but sometime the wife comes with me, but not often. I track the car almost 1 once a month and the track performance was the main reason why I decided I needed a new suspension - the 03 non-sport suspension simply wasn't up to the task.
I'm not really planning on using EDFC - it seems like more than I need. So long as I can adjust the dampers manually I would be fine with that. Money isn't really an option but I won't be spending Zeal coilover prices. I figured 1700 was about my upper limit. If I can get something for less that meets my needs then great.
I really want a good quality suspension - I don't want creaks or knocking. This was the main reason why I was leaning towards the HKS - I heard they are quite quiet. I have heard hit or miss about BC Racing - some people have the "clunk" others don't. I think they came out with a revised pillow ball mount or something that reduces it but I wasn't really digging into it.
I don't mind a stiff ride, so long as the damping is well setup and not jarring. I'm not planning on taking it off road and the roads around here are not too bad. I want something that is stiff but firm on the roads but performs well at the track.
HTH - thanks again for all the opinons guys - really appreciate it.
